About TideMeter
TideMeter is an open-source, self-hosted web analytics platform built for developers and small teams who want traffic insights, conversion tracking, and team sharing — without cookies, vendor lock-in, or privacy trade-offs.
What we are building
Most analytics tools fall into two extremes: overly complex enterprise platforms like Google Analytics, or minimal page-view-only dashboards. TideMeter sits in the middle — a practical analytics stack for teams that need real insight without becoming analytics specialists.
TideMeter gives you traffic reports, funnels, retention cohorts, user journeys, UTM tracking, public dashboards, and team sharing — self-hosted on your own infrastructure with PostgreSQL or ClickHouse.
Privacy is not a checkbox. By hashing visitor identifiers with rotating daily salts and never storing personal data, TideMeter makes privacy violations architecturally impossible.
Who TideMeter is for
Developers
You want analytics you can deploy with Docker, understand at a glance, and extend through an API — without sacrificing user privacy.
Small Teams
You need clean dashboards, shared access, and enough depth to answer product and marketing questions without Google Analytics complexity.
Privacy-Conscious Projects
You want cookie-free, GDPR-compliant analytics where privacy is the architecture, not a setting.
Agencies & Freelancers
Track multiple client sites from one dashboard and share read-only public links — no logins needed for stakeholders.
